The NTX-DRN-NB703 DrainGuard NB-IoT is an industrial device designed for the continuous monitoring of sewers, manholes, and urban drainage networks, enabling municipal operators, water utilities, and engineering firms to detect critical situations and anticipate flooding, overflows, and structural failures.
The device incorporates low-power NB-IoT technology, allowing it to transmit data directly to the cloud without the need for intermediate gateways, ensuring reliable connectivity in complex underground environments and providing more than five years of autonomy thanks to its internal industrial lithium battery.
The system performs measurements using ultrasonic technology, enabling accurate monitoring of the internal level of manholes or collectors and the early identification of overflow risks. In addition, it integrates sensors for tilt or displacement detection, making it possible to identify abnormal movements, vandalism, or mechanical failures in the infrastructure.
DrainGuard NB-IoT also includes ambient temperature monitoring, facilitating the detection of abnormal thermal events that may indicate risk situations in confined spaces.
Designed for harsh environments, the device features an industrial enclosure with IP68 protection, resistant to water, dust, humidity, and extreme conditions. It can operate across a wide temperature range, making it ideal for permanent installation in urban sanitation infrastructure.
The collected information is sent to the Nasatech CORE Platform and can be easily integrated with Smart City systems, SCADA platforms, or custom applications, enabling early warning alerts, historical data analysis, and predictive maintenance strategies aimed at reducing operational costs and improving urban resilience.
