[NTXPSL27NB] NB-IoT / LoRaWAN Smart Parking Sensor

The NTXPSL27NB is a smart parking space occupancy sensor based on geomagnetic and microwave radar technology. It detects vehicles with high precision and transmits data via NB-IoT or LoRaWAN directly to the Nasatech CORE platform. Its IP68 rating, high mechanical strength and battery life of up to five years make it an ideal solution for urban environments and Smart Cities. Integrated with Nasatech LINK, it guarantees reliable connectivity and centralised parking management.

Description

The NTXPSL27NB is an advanced solution designed for the digitisation and optimisation of parking in urban environments, as well as public and private car parks. Based on dual-sensing technology that combines low-power geomagnetic induction with 24 GHz microwave radar, the sensor provides accurate and reliable detection of parking space occupancy, minimising interference and false detections.

The device enables real-time identification of the status of each space (occupied or free) and transmits this information to the cloud via NB-IoT or LoRaWAN connectivity. In its version integrated with Nasatech LINK, the system guarantees secure and continuous multi-operator connectivity, facilitating large-scale deployments in cities or complex infrastructures.

Integrated into the Nasatech CORE Platform, the sensor forms part of a comprehensive smart parking management system. From the platform, it is possible to view real-time availability, analyse usage patterns, generate alerts and optimise parking space turnover. Furthermore, it enables integration with mobile apps and municipal systems, improving the user experience and reducing urban traffic caused by the search for parking.

The NTXPSL27NB has been designed to operate in demanding conditions. It features IP68 protection and a housing capable of withstanding over 15 tonnes of pressure, making it suitable for installation on roads, in outdoor car parks or in high-traffic areas. Its robust, sealed structure ensures durability against moisture, dust and temperature fluctuations.

Thanks to its low energy consumption, the device runs on an internal battery with a lifespan of up to 5 years, enabling large-scale deployments without frequent maintenance.

Overall, the NTXPSL27NB transforms traditional parking into a smart, connected and data-driven system, helping to reduce congestion, improve urban mobility and optimise resources in Smart City projects.
