The NTXEC301EDGE – Nasatech Industrial Edge Computer is an advanced edge computing solution designed for the acquisition, processing and orchestration of industrial data in demanding environments. This device forms part of Nasatech’s Industrial IoT Data Acquisition Layer portfolio, acting as an intelligent node capable of connecting legacy systems, industrial sensors and digital platforms within Purdue architectures.
Based on an industrial ARM architecture with a high-performance CPU (quad-core Cortex-A53) and an optimised Ubuntu operating system, the NTXEC301EDGE provides an open, robust platform ready for large-scale industrial deployments. Its edge computing capability enables local data processing, reduces latency and optimises traffic to the cloud, enabling advanced Industry 4.0 use cases.
The device natively integrates key tools such as Node-RED and NeuronEX-Lite, allowing visual programming to be combined with multi-protocol industrial connectivity. This ‘Dual-N’ architecture facilitates rapid development of business logic and integration with industrial systems (PLC, SCADA, OPC-UA, Modbus, etc.), providing a unified data acquisition layer.
Thanks to its wide range of industrial interfaces (RS485, RS232, CAN, DI/DO, Ethernet), the NTXEC301EDGE allows direct connection of field equipment without the need for additional hardware.
