Description
The NTXEG8200EDGE – Nasatech Industrial Edge Gateway is an advanced edge computing solution designed for the acquisition, integration and processing of industrial data in distributed environments. This device forms part of Nasatech’s Industrial IoT Data Acquisition Layer portfolio, enabling OT systems, sensors and PLCs to be connected to digital platforms in a fast, flexible and scalable manner
Based on industrial ARM architecture with an optimised Linux system, the NTXEG8200EDGE is designed to simplify the complexity of integration in industrial environments through a Zero Code / Low Code approach, allowing data flows to be built using visual programming. This capability enables teams to focus on business logic without the need for complex development, significantly accelerating the deployment of IoT solutions.
The device incorporates multiple industrial interfaces such as RS485, RS232, CAN, and digital inputs and outputs, enabling direct connection to field equipment without the need for additional hardware. Furthermore, it supports a wide variety of industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, IEC104, BACnet, amongst others), facilitating integration with hundreds of PLC models from leading manufacturers such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron and Rockwell.
In terms of connectivity, the NTXEG8200EDGE offers support for 4G, Wi-Fi and Ethernet, ensuring communication in any industrial environment, including remote sites. It also incorporates GNSS positioning capabilities (GPS + Beidou), enabling its use with mobile or geographically distributed assets.
